I just wanted to post a few links regarding the Oklahoma Tornado's that occurred yesterday. As many of you know I'm a born and raised Oklahoman. I can't even begin to imagine the tragedy that has occurred there. I am praying for all those family's that are affected. During times like this I often worry about the family pets, are they safe, did they get out? One of my vet school friends clinic is very close to the tornado's path. She has been working all night to take care of displaced animals. Here is a link to her clinic and to a website that has posted found animals and a place to post your missing animals. My friend also just posted that not one of the animals she helped last night had a microchip!! Please microchip your dogs, cats and horses, that way if their collar is lost they can still find their way back home to you!

I also love this TV interview. It is an elderly lady whose house was destroyed while she was inside. She lost her little dog during the storm and had assumed he was dead. But wait for the surprise at the end! I'm warning you this one is a tear jerker, combine a cute old lady and her sweet dog friend, only a heart of stone wouldn't get a little sentimental..
